Sunday, 29th of July 2007 at 09:59:27 PMLike once every year this weekend we visited our friends Sonja and Volker in Winterthur/Swizzerland. During this visit we always do a Hiking Tour which this time was set up for Mount Speer in the Appenzeller Mountains. We started from Amden near the Walensee. Weather was fine but a little bit windy and colder than usual. Ideal waether for Hiking. We closed the weekend trip with a visit in the Schaffhausen Rhine falls, a spectacular waterfall of the river rhine. Here a foto on our Stop in the upper Chäseren Alm where we ate a “Gersten” (barley) Soup.
