After years using Canon cameras I wanted to show myself that I am still flexible. Having evaluated for weeks the Canon EOS 400D against the Nikon the only arguments for the Canon were the price and the practice with the Canon camera settings. But when holding the Nikon D80 in my hands I immediately knew: It is worth jumping into this new world. Just returned from the shop I am impatiently waiting for the battery to charge and doing my first “Nikon” shots.
Related Posts:Doing something the first time has always its own magic. Just returned from a 5 day trip to Barcelona. I had many chances to experiment with my new camera, unfortunately we had cloudy weather and little sun. Most I liked the Parc Guell and the Sagrada Famiglia, but also the Batlo Building and strolling around in the Gothic quarter alleys.

Saturday I checked out my new hiking boots (a Xmas gift) and hiked up from Tegernsee to Baumgartenschneid in about 2 hours. It showed that the boots were about 1/2 a size to small and therefore I returned early to Munich for exchanging them in my outdoor shop for the correct size. The photo shows the view from the top of the mountain towards the chapel of Riderstein and Lake Tegernsee.
