We met at my hotel for\u00a0coffee and\u00a0had a 1h chat about\u00a0my\u00a0trip and previous trips and also about his current projects and activities. ngg_shortcode_0_placeholderHe\u00a0 gave me many tips for new tours in the area. Many thanks again Laurent, you made me really happy.<\/p>\n<p>I had\u00a0originally planed to visit the Coyote Gulch but felt tired and thus decided to visit another Nationalpark which\u00a0\u00a0was completly new to me, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/care\/index.htm\">Capitol Reef National Park<\/a>\u00a0near Torrey &#8211; around 70 miles east of Escalante. Driving on scenic byway 12 in eastern direction was furthermore very attractive and I knew this route only up to Boulder, UT. ngg_shortcode_1_placeholderIt is amazing to see on such a roadtrip how the landscape\u00a0 changes from the arid rocky landscape of the Grandstaircase into\u00a0a immense green forest when climbing up the mountains east of boulder.ngg_shortcode_2_placeholderIn Capitol Reef I arrived at times inadequate for photography (noon). I first took the Scenic drive to Capitol Gorge and drove down the Gorge ngg_shortcode_3_placeholderThere I did a small\u00a03 miles hike.
